This week, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission released information on the recalls of several products, including a chair, a device used in mountain climbing, robes, and scarves.
Noble house dining chair Recall
Furniture manufacturer Noble House announced that it had recalled about 3300 of its Kaius, Henrietta, and Fauna dining chairs. These chairs have a structural flaw that can cause their legs to break, thereby posing a fall hazard. Consumers who have purchased the chairs may visit www.noblehousefurniture.com to obtain a free repair kit.
Vergo climbing belay device Recall
Outdoor products manufacturer GTHI has recalled its Vergo climbing belay device, because its assisted braking device can malfunction, thereby posing serious fall and injury hazards. The recall affects some 2600 Vergo devices sold in the U.S. and another 100 in Canada. Consumers may visit www.trango.com to obtain a free replacement.
little giraffe child robe Recall
Clothing manufacturer Little Giraffe has recalled about 2000 of its children’s robes for the garments’ failure to meet federal flammability standards. The robes pose a risk of burn injuries to children. Consumers may visit www.littlegiraffe.com to obtain a full refund.
Ifasioning women's scarve Recall
Clothing manufacturer iFashioning has recalled some 2000 of its women’s scarves for failing to meet federal flammability standards. The scarves, which were sold exclusively on amazon.com, pose a risk of burn injuries to wearers. Consumers may obtain a full refund by emailing email@example.com, or calling 866-216-1072.
