Product Recall

Fabri-Tech Infant Romper Recall

Children’s clothing manufacturer Fabri-Tech has announced the recall of about 6500 of its infant rompers, as the buttons on the garments’ shoulder straps can become detached, posing a choking hazard. The items were sold exclusively at Cracker Barrel restaurants. Children should stop wearing the rompers immediately, and parents should return the clothing to any Cracker Barrel store for a full refund, or visit www.fabritech.com for instructions on how to obtain a full refund.

Handi-Craft dish soap Recall

Handi-Craft, a personal care products manufacturer has recalled about 23,000 bottles of its Dr. Brown’s natural bottle and dish soaps due to the risk of bacterial infection that the products pose. The soap can contain harmful bacteria that can cause respiratory and/or other infections in people with compromised immune systems. Consumers should stop using the products immediately and contact the company at www.drbrownsbaby.com to obtain a refund or replacement. Any items washed with the soap should be sanitized in the dishwasher or boiled .

Hallmark baby stacking toy Recall

Tchotchke manufacturer Hallmark has recalled about 6000 (including about 200 sold in Canada) of its plush baby stacking toys. The stuffed animals on the toys have hats and bows that can become detached, and thus pose choking hazards. Consumers should take the toys away from children immediately and contact Hallmark at www.hallmark.com to obtain a prepaid return label and a $40 gift card.
